Polish voters identify key disqualifying behaviors for politicians
A survey conducted by Opinia24 for Gazeta Wyborcza reveals the primary reasons Polish citizens would refuse to vote for a politician. Corruption is the most significant deterrent, with 83 percent of respondents stating they would not vote for a politician who accepted bribes.
Other major disqualifying factors include appearing in public under the influence of alcohol (74 percent) and being caught in a lie (63 percent). Additionally, 41 percent of respondents indicated they would not support candidates who spent most of their adult lives abroad, lacked political experience, or had lost their driver's license due to speeding.
Personal and political history also play a role, with 36 percent of participants rejecting candidates who had changed political parties or committed marital infidelity. Family conflicts were cited by 33 percent of respondents. In contrast, a politician's personal wealth (15 percent) and ownership of a large company (17 percent) were considered less significant factors in voter rejection.
