Polish wedding gift trends show cash dominates

A recent market study of Polish consumers reveals that cash is the preferred wedding present from friends, acquaintances and distant relatives. 35.7% of respondents consider cash the most appropriate gift, while 34.5% favour cash accompanied by a small tangible item. Gift cards were chosen by 8.7% and household items by 6.6%; electronics and jewellery each attracted just over 1% of votes. Experts interpret the results as a reflection of a material‑oriented society that values the financial support of a wedding over sentimental gestures.

Separate advice on selecting gift sets for women emphasizes matching the present to the relationship, occasion and lifestyle of the recipient. The guidance recommends a clear focal item (e.g., a premium candle) paired with two or three complementary accessories, and stresses personalized packaging and handwritten notes to enhance the perceived thoughtfulness of the set.
