Polish Women Players Headline WTA Events in Athens 2026 and Toronto 2024
The WTA 250 tournament in Athens will be held from 13 to 19 July 2026 on the hard courts of the Athens Olympic Tennis Centre. The event features a 32‑player draw with a prize pool of $283,347 and includes Poland’s Magda Linette among other top‑50 players.
Following the conclusion of Wimbledon, the WTA Tour shifts to hard‑court competition in early August with the WTA 1000 Canadian Open in Toronto, running 2 to 13 August. Four Polish players—world No. 3 Iga Świątek, Maja Chwalińska (rank 20), Magdalena Fręch and Magda Linette—have entered the tournament alongside the sport’s leading stars.
