Polish health experts issue summer skin‑care and safety guide

A series of articles provide practical advice for safe and healthy summer activities in Poland. Dermatologists and skincare specialists recommend choosing broad‑spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen or sunscreen‑infused moisturizers for the whole family, using DEET‑based insect repellents, and applying after‑sun regeneration products such as gentle cleansers, exfoliants, and hydrating serums to restore the skin barrier after UV exposure. They also advise regular re‑application of sunscreen, protective clothing, hats and sunglasses, and moisturizing creams containing ceramides, vitamin C or niacinamide for mature skin.

Separate guidance addresses general vacation safety: stay hydrated, avoid peak sun hours, use supervised swimming areas, wear helmets when cycling, secure homes before travel, and be cautious with online payments. Additional tips cover preventing thigh chafing in hot weather with breathable under‑garments, applying antiperspirant or barrier creams, and using lightweight shimmering body gels for a sun‑kissed look without tanning. Together, the recommendations aim to minimise sun‑related skin damage, heat‑related health risks and common summer injuries.
