Polish women's sports: Energa Start Elbląg and Stomilanki Olsztyn secure victories

In Polish women's sports, Energa Start Elbląg won the President of Elbląg City Cup handball tournament. During the pre-season preparation for the ORLEN Superliga, the home team defeated Energa Sambor Tczew 41:29 and SPR Pogoń Szczecin. Coach Magdalena Stanulewicz utilized the tournament to rotate the squad and provide playing time to junior players, including Alicja Ratajczyk and Nikola Jankowska.

In women's football, Energa Stomilanki Olsztyn maintained their lead in the I liga after defeating UKS 3 FAKRO Jelna. Martyna Duchnowska scored two goals to secure the victory, despite a late goal from Jelna's Clara Gomes. Coach Dariusz Maleszewski noted that while the team controlled much of the match, opponents utilized deep defensive tactics, and he emphasized the importance of maintaining their current form as league leaders.
