Polish workers plan summer temporary jobs as living costs rise

A recent Tikrow survey shows 19% of Poles intend to take temporary work during the summer season. The highest interest is among students and pupils, with 45% planning seasonal jobs, while 22% of full‑time employees also seek extra work.

The main motivators are extra expenses (58% of respondents) and the need to cover ongoing bills (48%), reflecting the pressure of rising prices on household budgets. Employers are responding strongly: two‑thirds of Polish companies expect to hire additional temporary staff in the third quarter, especially in production (70%), retail (63%) and logistics/warehouse sectors (61%).
