Polish Youth Fire Brigades Complete Training and County Competition

Three female members of the Volunteer Fire Department (OSP) in Słotwin successfully finished a two‑week Youth Fire Brigade (MDP) course at a training camp in Jarosławiec. The program combined theoretical instruction with practical fire‑fighting and rescue exercises, preparing the participants for future duties in the volunteer fire service.

On 12 June 2026 the 21st county sports‑fire competition for MDP teams was held at the Grójecki Sports Centre “Mazowsze” in Grójec County. Seventeen teams—five women’s and twelve men’s—competed in combat drills and a relay run. The women's overall winner was OSP Jasieniec, while the men's title went to OSP Mogielnica. The event was organised by the County Command of the State Fire Service in Grójec and the County Board of the Polish Volunteer Fire Service, with co‑organisers including local municipalities and sponsors Top Market and Ferrero Polska.
