Polish youth fire brigades hold ceremonies and competitions in local towns

On 19 July 2026 the youth fire brigade of Jednorożec held a formal swearing‑in ceremony in Ulatowo‑Pogorzel. Senior officers presented badges and emblems to the new members, and the event featured a fair‑play sports match in which the youth team emerged victorious. Local officials, including the mayor of Jednorożec Krzysztof Nizielski, attended and the day concluded with a community grill.

On 20 March 2026 the municipality of Osiek hosted the municipal elimination round of the national Fire Knowledge Tournament “Youth Prevents Fires”. Primary‑school students competed in two age categories, with Julia Kolasa, Anna Reczko and other pupils winning top places. The winners will represent the Osiek gmina in the upcoming county‑level competition.
