Polish youth handball team places 14th nationally; charity football cup in Lutocin raises over 6,200 zł

Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Kolbuszowa represented the Podkarpackie region at the national high school handball finals in Piotrków Trybunalski, finishing 14th out of 14 qualifying schools. Team captain Mariusz Kośmider was named the tournament's best player.

In Lutocin, the annual Mayor's Cup football tournament was held as a charity event. Eleven teams competed, and the final saw OSP Gojsk defeat a·La Swojęcin 4‑0. Organizers reported that the tournament collected 6,200 zł for the local children's care facility Mario i Olek in Lidzbark Welski.
