Polish Zloty Slumps as Euro, Pound and Dollar Strengthen

Polish markets saw a sharp decline in the zloty in early July 2026. On 9 July the euro traded at 4.3069 zł, barely changing day‑to‑day but adding to pressure on the local currency. The following day, 10 July, the British pound reached 5.0994 zł, up 0.0441 zł from the previous day. By 13 July the U.S. dollar was quoted at 3.8008 zł, reflecting a continuous upward trend against the zloty. Weekly market summaries highlighted persistent weakness of the zloty amid stronger foreign currencies. All rates are based on data from the National Bank of Poland (NBP).
