Polish ZUS pension accounts rise 9.8% after June valuation

In June 2026 the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) applied its annual pension‑account valuation, increasing the main pension account and initial capital by 9.81 % and sub‑accounts by 10.61 %. The adjustment, based on inflation and GDP growth, cannot be negative and will raise future pension benefits.

The increase adds roughly 44 thousand zlotys to a 450 thousand‑zloty account and about 83 thousand zlotys to an 850 thousand‑zloty balance. After the valuation ZUS will issue an electronic Information on Insured Account Status (IOSKU) to all insured persons born after 31 December 1948 via the eZUS portal.
