Polisportiva Marsala Doc athletes achieve multiple running successes

Athletes from the Polisportiva Marsala Doc club have achieved multiple successes across various running competitions in Italy, spanning regions from Piedmont to Sicily and Calabria.

In the Maratona alla Filippide in Sicily, a race noted for its unique rules prohibiting wristwatches and course markings, Michele D’Errico finished 35th overall with a time of 3 hours, 33 minutes, and 29 seconds, placing first in the SM70 category. Other finishers included Gianpaolo Graffeo, Nino Cusumano, Vito D’Errico, and Lara Saladino.

D’Errico also secured a victory in the ‘6 Ore’ race in Curinga, Calabria. Meanwhile, Matilde Rallo placed eighth overall and second in the SF55 category during the ‘50 km del Lago d’Orta’ race.

In the Biorace Circuit held in Partinico and Balestrate, Antonio Pizzo secured a podium finish in the SM65 category. The club's presence was also noted through several other participants in the 7.5 km street races.
