Political candidates launch campaigns in Rio Grande do Norte and Paraíba

Political candidates in Northeast Brazil have launched official campaign activities for federal deputy positions.

In the Seridó region of Rio Grande do Norte, Odon Jr. and Francisco do PT held mobilization events in Parelhas and Currais Novos. The activities included the inauguration of a campaign committee in Parelhas and a plenary session in Currais Novos, which featured the participation of Mayor Lucas Galvão. The candidates emphasized their commitment to regional development and community engagement.

In Paraíba, Doutor Jhony held his first official plenary in Campina Grande to launch his candidacy for the Chamber of Deputies. The event was attended by political figures including Cícero Lucena and Senator Veneziano. A physician and former head of the State Health Secretariat, Doutor Jhony centered his platform on healthcare and his experience with the Unified Health System (SUS).
