Political candidates launch new campaign phases in Brazil

Political candidates in Brazil are launching new phases of their electoral campaigns. In Rio de Janeiro, Anielle Franco is inaugurating her central campaign committee in the Lapa district. The space is intended to serve as a hub for activists and supporters, aiming to carry forward the political legacy of Marielle Franco through a focus on social justice, democracy, and representation for favelas and peripheries.

In São Paulo, Franco Sardelli (PL) is officially launching his campaign for state deputy. The event, held in Americana, seeks to consolidate support from leaders across the interior of the state. Sardelli’s platform emphasizes increasing political representation for regional municipalities and addressing local demands in health, security, education, infrastructure, and economic development.
