Political corruption allegations emerge in Bosnia and Croatia

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the SBB party and Fahrudin Radončić have raised allegations of systemic corruption and financial mismanagement within the healthcare system of the Una-Sana Canton (USK). The party claims that public funds are being diverted through inflated costs for medical equipment and medicines. Specific allegations include wheelchairs being priced 2,500 KM higher than in Sarajevo, medicines at the Bihać Cantonal Hospital being 30 percent more expensive than at KCUS, and the unnecessary outsourcing of medical services to private clinics.

In Croatia, the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) is facing an investigation by USKOK regarding sponsorship contracts. Investigators have requested documentation related to executive board meetings and equipment supplier agreements. Marijan Kustić addressed the probe, denying any commission payments or illegal activities related to a major sports equipment contract. He stated that all funds will remain within the HNS and emphasized that the federation is cooperating fully with the authorities.
