Political criticism in Greece targets Alexis Tsipras and Sami Municipality

Zoi Konstantopoulou, president of Plevesi Eleftherias, has issued a sharp critique of former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras. She accused him of violating the mandate of the referendum and pursuing policies contrary to the commitments made to citizens. Konstantopoulou characterized his four-year administration as ‘anti-social,’ specifically citing his handling of social movements, pension reforms, and the use of force during protests.

In a separate regional matter, Giorgos Kavallieratos, leader of the opposition in Sami, criticized the local municipal administration. He claimed the Municipality of Sami is losing hundreds of thousands of euros due to mismanagement of Myrtos beach, specifically citing the lack of organized services for umbrellas and sunbeds. Kavallieratos also highlighted issues regarding the Sami Health Center, tourism planning, and delays in infrastructure projects.
