Political developments in Nepal and religious rights concerns in India

In Nepal, the central committee of the CPN UMLA has unanimously passed the political report presented by party chairman KP Sharma Oli. The meeting included discussions from various party officials and central committee members regarding the report. Further meetings of the party secretariat and central committee are scheduled to continue.

In India, the working committee of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, chaired by Maulana Mahmood Madani, met in New Delhi to discuss concerns regarding constitutional and religious rights. The committee expressed alarm over alleged administrative bias, mob lynching, and the demolition of mosques and madrasas. The organization plans to seek an audience with the President of India to raise these grievances and will pursue legal and constitutional avenues to protect the rights of affected communities.
