The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced its National Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections. The leadership structure features Senator Henry Seriake Dickson as chairman and presidential candidate Peter Obi as co-chairman. Senator Cleopas Moses Zuwoghe, the party's National Chairman and vice-presidential candidate, will serve as vice-chairman, while Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso will serve as co-vice-chairman.

Other key appointments include Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu as Council Secretary and Mallam Ibrahim Hussain Abdulkarim as Director-General. The party stated that the council is designed to provide strategic leadership and coordinate nationwide mobilization to support its vision for a prosperous Nigeria.

The announcement has drawn criticism from the Presidency, with Special Adviser Daniel Bwala describing the council as being dominated by content creators rather than mainstream media professionals. Additionally, the Obi-Kwankwaso Movement (OK Movement) criticized the party for the delay in establishing its campaign machinery, arguing that effective grassroots mobilization is more critical than formal appointments.
