Political leaders discuss election outcomes and international alliances

João Roma, the former Minister of Citizenship and president of the Liberal Party (PL) in Bahia, Brazil, has commented on the party's performance following recent elections. Despite finishing third in the Senate race, Roma characterized the party's results as positive, noting increased representation in Bahia through the election of various state and federal legislators.

Roma confirmed he is in frequent dialogue with Flávio Bolsonaro and the national leadership of the PL regarding presidential ambitions. He emphasized the need for economic stability, tax reduction, and legal security in Brazil, while criticizing the current federal government's economic policies.

In Portugal, André Ventura, leader of the Chega party, has declared his support for Senator Flávio Bolsonaro. Following his defeat in the Portuguese presidential elections, where he received 33% of the vote against socialist António José Seguro, Ventura used social media to call for Flávio Bolsonaro's victory and expressed strong opposition to Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
