Political leaders in Guinea and Ivory Coast call for unity

In Guinea, Dr. Youssouf Boundou Sylla, Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Handicrafts, has called for national unity and social cohesion. Highlighting President Mamadi Doumbouya’s diverse background and local roots, Sylla emphasized the need to move past political, community, and social divisions to focus on economic and professional development.

In Ivory Coast, Minister of Water and Forests Jacques Assahoré Konan addressed RHDP cadres and militants in Sakassou. He urged party members to prioritize concrete actions and field presence to meet public expectations. Konan warned against internal leadership struggles and ego-driven divisions, stating that a united party is essential for maintaining political strength and responding to the needs of the Gbêkê region.
