Political organizations in Río Negro and Neuquén launch new membership drives

Political organizations in the Argentine provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén are launching initiatives to reorganize and expand their memberships ahead of future elections.

In Río Negro, the group Acción Peronista Viedma has launched a pre-affiliation campaign for the Partido Justicialista. The process involves an online form followed by in-person signatures to formalize membership. The initiative aims to build a militant structure looking toward the 2027 elections and supports the political project led by María Emilia Soria.

In Neuquén, Carlos Quintriqueo, president of Más por Neuquén, has called upon members and leaders of the Movimiento Popular Neuquino (MPN) to join a new provincial political construction. Quintriqueo stated that participants would not need to renounce their MPN affiliation or identity. He emphasized the need for provincial autonomy, arguing that Neuquén should be governed by decisions made locally rather than being subordinated to national interests from Buenos Aires.
