Political rallies in Serbia see arrests and appearance of Interpol-wanted businessman

During political rallies held by the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), several notable incidents occurred involving controversial figures and political activists.

In Kragujevac, Milan Radoičić, a businessman currently subject to an Interpol arrest warrant, was observed at an SNS gathering alongside Danilo Vučić. Radoičić is wanted in connection with the armed conflict in Banjska, Kosovo, in September 2023, an event characterized by authorities as a terrorist act. Radoičić has previously taken responsibility for the events in Banjska.

In Zrenjanin, police detained Minja Pernat and Petar Petrović from the Movement of United Phantoms (PUF) during a rally supporting Aleksandar Vučić. Members of the PUF reported being surrounded and pushed by police, preventing them from approaching the SNS gathering.
