Political shifts in Soria and Castellón as candidates announce departures
In Soria, Yolanda de Gregorio and Benito Serrano have announced they will leave their institutional roles to run for the Senate as candidates for the Partido Popular. De Gregorio, the current delegate for the Junta de Castilla y León, will step down from her position, with Rafa Medina expected to serve in an interim capacity until Alfonso Fernández Mañueco appoints a successor. Benito Serrano intends to vacate the presidency of the Provincial Council in the coming weeks.
In Castellón, Artemi Rallo is leaving the Cortes Generales after eleven years. Having been excluded from the PSPV's candidate lists for the upcoming November 29 elections, the former deputy and senator announced his return to university teaching.
