Political shifts in Tamaulipas and Sinaloa

In Tamaulipas, Gerardo Illoldi, the former Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare, has resigned from his position in the state cabinet led by Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya. Speculation has emerged regarding his political future, with some suggesting a potential run for the mayoralty of Tampico, though other possibilities include a seat in the federal Chamber of Deputies.

In Sinaloa, the Labor Party (PT) has appointed Federal Deputy Jesús Ibarra Ramos as the Affiliation Coordinator for the municipality of Culiacán. The appointment was delivered by PT national leader Alberto Anaya. While the PT and Morena maintain a political alliance, it remains unclear if this specific appointment was made in coordination with Morena leadership, as the party has not yet formally announced its own municipal coordination profiles for the region.
