Political tensions in Bar and monument unveiling in Banja Luka

In Montenegro, Branislav Nenezić, President of the Bar Municipal Assembly, has issued a warning against political efforts to divide the city of Bar. Nenezić criticized recent actions, including a visit by Andrija Mandić and the placement of banners supporting Aleksandar Vučić at the Ratac fortress, describing them as attempts to undermine the coexistence of different faiths and ethnic groups through regressive policies.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, a ceremony was held in Banja Luka to unveil a monument dedicated to Prince Lazar. The event featured cultural performances, including folklore and musical acts, and included speeches by actor Anando Čenić and Banja Luka Mayor Draško Stanivuković. Stanivuković emphasized that the creation of monuments and sacred sites serves to confirm the identity of the city and its people for future generations.
