Political tensions rise in Nord-Troms regarding regional influence

Katrine B. Gregussen, group leader for Troms SV, has criticized Labor Party (Arbeiderpartiet) mayors and county mayors in Nord-Troms for failing to achieve results for their region. She notes that despite repeated meetings with government departments, local priorities such as improved flight routes to Sørkjosen, continued DPS services, and equal economic frameworks in the special zone have not been met.

Gregussen highlights that even when extra funds are secured for Helse Nord, the Health Minister has not instructed UNN to follow through as requested. She argues that the lack of impact on regional issues, including the recent state budget, raises questions about the effectiveness of local Labor Party leadership in representing their constituents' needs.
