Political tensions rise in Tlaxcala and Querétaro

In Tlaxcala, Antonio Martínez Velázquez, the state government's communications coordinator, has denied reports of a rift between Governor Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros and Morena state coordinator Ana Lilia Rivera Rivera. Martínez Velázquez questioned the motives behind narratives suggesting a division within the movement, stating such claims only benefit political adversaries. He emphasized that political projects should transcend personal differences, despite previous delays in the local recognition of Rivera's leadership role.

In Querétaro, Governor Mauricio Kuri González has called for political civility after PAN state leader Martín Arango made allegations involving the family of Morena coordinator Santiago Nieto. Kuri stated he could not support comments targeting the relatives of political figures, urging all parties to focus on policy proposals rather than personal attacks or slander. Additionally, Kuri expressed surprise at recent comments made by former President Vicente Fox regarding the 2006 election.
