Political tensions rise over Argentine industry and Spanish intelligence management
In Argentina, tensions have risen between the industrial sector and the government. The President of the Industrial Union has criticized the current economic model, arguing that inflation control alone is insufficient and that national industry faces significant difficulties. In response, the Minister of Economy stated that industry must govern for the entire country rather than specific sectors, noting recent tax reductions and reforms. Industrialists maintain they require equal conditions to compete against foreign products benefiting from international subsidies.
In Spain, journalist Vicente Vallés has criticized the Executive's relationship with the National Intelligence Centre (CNI). Vallés argued that publicly exposing disagreements with state security organs is a strategic error that undermines institutional credibility and international standing. He compared the situation to the 2018 Helsinki summit, where Donald Trump discredited the CIA regarding Russian election interference, noting that internal disputes should be resolved privately to maintain the reputation of intelligence services.
