Polizeiruf 110: Nachttresor plot details

The episode ‘Nachttresor’ follows 16-year-old Hans Wökke, who escapes from a youth detention center. After meeting a man known as ‘Freddy,’ Hans is persuaded to participate in a bank vault robbery. The plan involves snatching a bag of money during a 12-second window while armored car drivers are loading a night safe.

The heist goes wrong when Hans is apprehended and his accomplice disappears with the money transporter. Investigators Lieutenant Jürgen Hübner and Lieutenant Vera Arndt suspect that Hans was intended to be a scapegoat. Despite interrogation, Hans remains silent, hindering the progress of the investigation.
