The first edition of the Grand Prix della Comunicazione Istituzionale 2026 was held at Palazzo Montecitorio in Rome. Organized by Touchpoint and Ital Communications in collaboration with Assocomunicatori, the event recognized excellence in institutional communication across various sectors, including public communication, civic and social communication, and digital innovation.
Key award recipients included the Polizia Stradale (State Police Road Police) for their civic and social communication campaigns focused on road safety. Other recognized entities included Rai Sport, Anci Lazio, and various corporate and institutional bodies. Francesco Battistoni, Secretary of the Presidency of the Chamber of Deputies, emphasized the need for effective communication models to maintain trust between citizens and institutions in a complex social landscape.
Federico Mollicone, President of the Culture, Science, and Education Commission, noted the importance of protecting communication professions amidst the rise of generative artificial intelligence.
