Poll shows majority of Democrats support military coup against Trump
A poll conducted by the Center for Strategic Politics has revealed significant political sentiments among registered Democrats regarding President Donald Trump. According to the survey, 59 percent of respondents would support a military coup to remove Trump from office, provided it was done to “protect the Constitution.” Additionally, 31 percent of Democrats expressed support for the assassination of the president.
The survey also detailed various other political preferences, including 69 percent of Democrats favoring an expansion of the Supreme Court and 68 percent supporting increased immigration. Other findings indicated that 52 percent believe the filibuster should be abolished, and 17 percent believe the Senate should be abolished.
When questioned about these findings, Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) stated “no” regarding whether he stands with voters supporting a military coup, while House candidate Cait Conley did not provide a response.
