Polla hospital receives visit from “Heroes of Kindness” for pediatric patients
The “Supereroi della Gentilezza” (Heroes of Kindness) visited the pediatric ward at the Luigi Curto Hospital in Polla to provide gifts and support to young patients. This event marked the final stop of an August tour that also included Nocera Inferiore and Sapri.
As part of the “Costruiamo Gentilezza” national project, ambassadors Niko Peduto and Vincenza De Donato participated alongside various volunteers and local administration representatives. The initiative aims to provide emotional support to children and their families during medical treatment.
The hospital is currently treating children from both the Vallo di Diano and Piana del Sele regions due to the temporary closure of the pediatric department at the Battipaglia Hospital.
