Polo 3 di Galatina launches Erasmus+ project Together to Build Bridges

The Istituto Comprensivo Polo 3 di Galatina has initiated an 18-month Erasmus+ KA122-SCH project titled “Together to Build Bridges.” Led by the school principal, the initiative aims to modernize teaching methodologies and strengthen ties between the school, families, and the local community.

The program focuses on three core objectives: implementing innovative teaching through the ethical use of artificial intelligence and project-based learning; promoting school well-being and anti-bullying protocols through emotional management tools; and ensuring inclusion and equity for students with special educational needs or socio-economic disadvantages.

The project involves 16 middle school students and 13 staff members, with six positions reserved for students with fewer opportunities. International mobility phases include creative workshops and AI training in Spain, emotional self-regulation studies in Estonia, and study visits to Finland to analyze its educational model. Additionally, the project includes online activities via the eTwinning platform and the creation of an ethical manual on AI.
