Polo da Gente begins training for social entities in Brazil

The Polo da Gente 2026 project has launched its training phase, aiming to benefit approximately 1,300 people in the municipalities of Camaçari and Dias d’Ávila. Coordinated by the Comitê de Fomento Industrial de Camaçari (Cofic) and sponsored by several industrial companies, the initiative focuses on improving the physical structures and management of social institutions serving local communities.

Selected entities, such as the Instituto de Ação Social e Desportiva D’Joana and the Casa de Amparo ao Idoso Irmã Doralice, are participating in specialized training sessions. These workshops cover essential topics including first aid and occupational health and safety regulations (NR-1) to better prepare staff for the daily care of children, adolescents, and the elderly.
