Polo Wila criticizes Emelec institutional instability

Former footballer Polo Wila has criticized the current institutional instability at Emelec, contrasting the present situation with the era of Nassib Neme. Wila, who played for the club for five years and won the national title in 2013, noted that the lack of administrative certainty makes it difficult for players to focus solely on their performance.

Wila highlighted that the management under Neme provided a level of regularity and stability that allowed the team to maintain high intensity, even during the tenure of Jorge Sampaoli. He suggested that the current lack of institutional certainty has negatively impacted the perception of Emelec as an attractive destination for players within the country.
