Polonia Bydgoszcz Captures Polish Youth Pair Speedway Title after 46 Years
Polonia Bydgoszcz won the Młodzieżowe Mistrzostwa Polski Par Klubowych (Polish Youth Pair Speedway Championships) held in Krosno on Saturday, securing the gold medal for the first time since 1980, a 46‑year gap. The winning pair, Wiktor Przyjemski and Maksymilian Pawełczak, lost only two points throughout the competition and clinched the title with a comfortable margin.
Wilki Krosno earned the silver, marking the club’s first ever podium finish in this championship. Włókniarz Częstochowa took bronze, returning to the podium after four years. The result gives Polonia Bydgoszcz its second all‑time gold in the competition, moving them to second place on the historical medal table behind Unia Leszno.
