Polonia Bytom to host international hockey tournament for 80th anniversary

The ice hockey section of Polonia Bytom is celebrating its 80th anniversary with an international friendly tournament. The event will take place from August 28 to August 30 at the Bracia Nikodemowiczów Ice Rink.

The tournament features four teams: the hosts Polonia Bytom, Unia Oświęcim, KH Energa Toruń, and the Ukrainian team Sokił Kijów. For Polonia Bytom, led by Andrei Gusov, the competition serves as a final test before the start of the 2026/2027 Tauron Hokej Liga season.

Bytom Mayor Mariusz Wołosz has taken honorary patronage over the event. Tickets are available for purchase online and at the rink, with special free entry for children under 12 as part of the III National Hockey Day.
