POLREGIO awards scholarships to future railway professionals

POLREGIO, Poland's largest passenger carrier, has awarded scholarships to eight high-achieving students as the new school year begins. The company collaborates with 23 educational institutions across the country to support youth pursuing careers in the railway sector.

To qualify for the scholarship, students must have completed their second year of study, maintain a minimum general average of 3.30, and achieve a specialized vocational average of at least 4.30. Candidates must also demonstrate exemplary behavior, receive school recommendations, pass medical examinations, and succeed in an interview with the funder.

Recipients include students from Lublin, Leszno, Sędziszów, Zduńska Wola, Opoczno, and Kędzierzyn-Koźle. Andrzej Pawłowski, President of POLREGIO, stated that investing in scholarship programs and school cooperation is a key method for attracting talented and passionate individuals to the railway industry.
