Polres Malang deploys medical teams to Mount Bromo fire responders

The Malang Police Resort (Polres Malang) has deployed a medical and health team (Dokkes) to monitor the health of joint personnel responding to fires in the Mount Bromo area, specifically near Jemplang, East Java.

Medical officials reported that several personnel have experienced symptoms including coughing and dizziness, likely due to smoke exposure, dry air from the dry season, and physical exhaustion. One team member received treatment for a minor burn on the left leg. To support recovery and prevention, the medical team is providing masks and vitamin supplements to the responders. Initial examinations indicated no signs of acute respiratory infection (ISPA) among the staff.
