Polres Malang seizes 1,770 bottles of illegal alcohol

The Malang Resort Police (Polres Malang) seized 1,770 bottles of illegal alcohol during a large-scale enforcement operation known as ‘Operasi Cipta Kondisi’. The raids were conducted across 30 districts in the Malang Regency from August 31 to September 7, 2026.

According to AKP M Budiono, Head of Public Relations for Polres Malang, the operation was a preventive measure intended to maintain public order and security. The police identified target locations through strategic mapping and reports from community members regarding businesses suspected of selling unlicensed alcohol.

In addition to seizing the contraband, officers provided socialization and warnings to business owners. The police emphasized that the goal is to educate retailers to prevent future violations, noting that illegal alcohol consumption is a primary trigger for street brawls, assaults, and accidents. Authorities stated that patrols and raids will continue to ensure regional stability.
