Polresta Tangerang conducts raids to prevent officer involvement in online gambling and illegal loans

The Professional and Security Section (Sipropam) of the Tangerang City Police (Polresta Tangerang) conducted a sudden inspection and discipline enforcement operation (Gaktibplin) targeting its personnel. The operation, held at the Polresta Tangerang assembly field, aimed to prevent officers from becoming involved in online gambling and illegal online loan services.

During the inspection, Sipropam personnel performed direct monitoring and checks on officers' mobile devices to detect prohibited applications or transaction histories indicating involvement in these high-risk activities. This preventive measure is intended to maintain officer integrity and ensure that personal financial or psychological issues stemming from such activities do not compromise their professional ability to serve and protect the community.
