Polri honors regional police units for food security achievements

During the 80th Bhayangkara Day celebrations, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) held an appreciation event at the Tribrata Building in Jakarta to recognize innovation and community collaboration.

Polda Riau was named the overall winner of Cluster 3 in the 2026 Polri Food Security Program, securing top marks across six different assessment categories. The award was presented by National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to Polda Riau Chief Irjen Pol Herry Heryawan.

In Cluster 1, Polda Jatim was recognized as the overall winner for the Food Security Program. Additionally, Polda Jatim and SPPG Palmerah received awards for excellence in managing and innovating the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program. At the local level, Polresta Sidoarjo earned first place in the Food Security Media Management competition for police stations and second place for best SPPG governance at SPPG Porong.
