Polri investigates banking corruption and Mandiri Taspen irregularities

Legal representatives for victims of alleged irregularities at Bank Mandiri Taspen Purwokerto have requested the Indonesian National Police (Polri) to freeze all accounts related to the affected customers. This action follows coordination with investigators from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to protect the financial rights of pensioners and prevent further loss of their wages.

Simultaneously, Polri is conducting an in-depth investigation into suspected corruption involving banking credit facilities. The investigation includes gathering testimonies, conducting searches, and collecting financial transaction data. To support the process, Polri is coordinating with the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) to ensure a comprehensive collection of evidence and professional handling of the case.
