The Polish entertainment and media landscape is seeing significant seasonal shifts. Polsat has announced an extensive autumn programming lineup, including new entertainment shows like ‘Hitster’ and the series ‘Gliniarze. Śląsk’. The station will also air classic holiday films, such as ‘Home Alone’, early in September. Additionally, journalist Iwona Kutyna is departing Polsat News, with Marek Tejchman set to take over her program, ‘Cztery strony mediów’.
In cinema and streaming, September 2026 will feature various releases, including a new ‘Resident Evil’ film and adaptations of ‘Lalka’. On Disney+, the Star Wars film ‘Mandalorian and Grogu’ is scheduled to premiere on September 2.
Regional cultural events are also active, including the 18th Autumn Theater Meetings in Jasło, a musical performance of Polish songs in Świnoujście, and the conclusion of the 20th season of the Chorzów Garden Theater with the play ‘Bajtle’.
