Polska 2050 leadership denies Hołownia government rumors

Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, chair of Polska 2050 and Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, has denied reports that Szymon Hołownia was offered a position in the government. She dismissed rumors regarding potential roles for the former Marshal of the Sejm as mere speculation and expressed frustration over political leaks regarding government positions.

Despite the denial of government roles, internal leadership disputes within the Polska 2050 parliamentary club remain unresolved. There is ongoing discussion regarding whether Hołownia will replace Paweł Śliza as the head of the club. Śliza noted that while no decision has been made, MPs may implement a change if they deem it necessary before the 2027 elections. The party, which currently has 15 MPs following a recent split, continues to navigate leadership transitions and its role within the governing coalition.
