Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa expands school partnerships to train defense workforce

Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) is expanding its cooperation with secondary schools across Poland to secure future personnel for the defense industry. The group aims to increase its involvement in technical education to better align curricula with the specific needs of local labor markets.

Currently, 24 PGZ companies collaborate with 81 educational institutions, supporting approximately 1,200 students through internships, classroom activities, and site visits. The group plans to expand this network to approximately 100 schools, focusing on technical facilities located near its manufacturing plants.

PGZ CEO Adam Leszkiewicz stated that these initiatives serve as an investment in future staff, providing students with the opportunity to understand real market expectations and gain experience using the technological resources of the group's facilities. The group is specifically looking to develop expertise in fields such as mechatronics, welding, and automation.
