Poltracking survey shows 63.2% public trust in Prabowo-Gibran administration
A survey by Poltracking Indonesia reveals that the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka holds a public trust level of 63.2 percent. While this high level of trust provides a political foundation for the government, the administration's approval rating currently stands at 55.1 percent, indicating a recent downward trend.
Poltracking analysts suggest that the gap between trust and approval offers an opportunity for the government to recover its rating through strategic improvements. Key areas requiring attention include legal reform and corruption eradication, where public satisfaction is notably lower, at 44.8 percent and 46.6 percent respectively.
In contrast, the government has seen high satisfaction in sectors such as education, social culture, health, defense, and security, with scores exceeding 60 percent. Popular programs like the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) also maintain high popularity at 93.9 percent. Experts recommend prioritizing consumer purchasing power and job creation to stabilize public sentiment.
