Independent Hungarian developer Polydin Studio announced its first‑person survival‑horror title Black Lake, slated for a PC launch on Steam in winter 2027 with console versions expected mid‑year. The game is set in an abandoned orphanage bordered by an endless black ocean, where players control Elena, a girl who returns after receiving a message from her missing twin sister Rita.

Gameplay will feature candle‑lit safe zones, a revolver for temporary defense, and a smartphone that reveals hidden clues. Players must solve puzzles and uncover the orphanage’s forbidden rituals while confronting supernatural entities. A pre‑alpha trailer has been released, showing early visuals and audio.
