Polygon Labs integrates TRON network into Open Money Stack
Polygon Labs has announced the expansion of its Open Money Stack to include support for the TRON network. This integration allows fintech companies, remittance providers, and payment platforms to connect traditional banking funds directly to the TRON ecosystem, which hosts over $94 billion in circulating USDT.
Previously, businesses operating across different blockchain networks required separate integrations for wallets, cross-chain bridges, and liquidity providers. The Open Money Stack aims to consolidate these components into a single integration. This enables users to move funds from bank transfers, debit cards, or cash into virtual accounts that settle on-chain, facilitating seamless movement between TRON and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible networks.
Polygon utilizes money transmitter licenses covering 48 U.S. states to facilitate these regulated on-ramps. TRON founder Justin Sun noted that the connection will help businesses serve users across diverse payment environments, particularly in regions where USDT is heavily utilized for retail payments and cross-border transfers.
