Polygon (POL) price surges as trading volume and derivatives activity spike

The Polygon (POL) token has experienced a significant price surge, gaining approximately 5% to 6% over a 24-hour period and trading near the $0.078 to $0.0795 range. This recovery follows a period of weak price action and is supported by a substantial increase in trading activity.

Market data indicates a massive spike in derivatives participation, with futures volume increasing by over 333% to nearly $109 million. Additionally, open interest has risen by more than 10%, suggesting that traders are actively increasing their exposure to the asset. Technical indicators, such as the Chaikin Money Flow, show rising capital entering the market.

Analysts are monitoring key resistance levels. A decisive breakout above the $0.081–$0.082 zone could shift market structure and potentially lead the price toward $0.09 or the psychological $0.10 mark. However, failure to clear these levels could lead to selling pressure from leveraged positions.
